Our aim is simple: to provide a great Catholic education by providing a nurturing environment of discipline, respect and kindness towards one another where every individual is known and loved. 

At St Wilfrid’s, we expect our students to work hard, behave well, conduct themselves with self-respect and respect for everyone they share the school with, dress smartly and approach everything they do with a positive attitude and smile on their face.

The 2023 Ofsted report states “Pupils at St Wilfrid’s are proud to be part of a community that shares strong values. Diverse backgrounds are celebrated in a safe environment.”  It is this community focus and celebration of diversity that make St Wilfrid’s such a special school; where all aspects of our day-to-day-life are underpinned by the Gospel values of dignity, tolerance, love and compassion.

Staff at St Wilfrid’s work tirelessly to ensure that our students are supported in their seven-year journey with us. This happens because of the relationships that are encouraged and fostered between all members of our community.  Working together with our families enables us to send out confident, compassionate and independent young people, who are ready for the world ahead of them. Positive relationships between all members of our community are key to everything that we do.
