St Wilfrid's Catholic School

Please meet our Head Students:

Annie Bell

"Being lucky enough to become Head Student at any school is a privilege, but to be able to take this role at a school that has given me so much is an honour. Over the last six years St Wilfrid’s has offered me so many academic opportunities and has always pushed me to achieve my best, but there is no way I would be the person I am today without the opportunities and memories provided to me through the performing arts, for which St Wilfrid’s truly is a centre of excellence. For this reason, one of my priorities as Head Student is to encourage even more students to immerse themselves in the numerous performing opportunities we have here. Whether it be on stage or behind the scenes, there really is a place for everyone, where you make friends that become like family and memories to last you a life time. I love that St Wilfrid’s is a school that truly values the importance of kindness, equality and respect and my time here has completely flown by. I am excited at having the opportunity to create a positive impact to the school that has become a second home, and to help ensure that everyone can have the same, cherished experience throughout their school years as I have."

“The moment I stepped foot into St Wilfrid's I felt at home. The idea of being a Head Student had always been a dream of mine and St Wilfrid's was able to make that a reality! I have been inspired to be ambitious and set goals I didn’t think were possible to meet.  As Head Student I want to continue to spread the positive and supportive atmosphere that St Wilfrids' already has throughout. I want to encourage others to have the confidence to get involved in things outside their comfort zone, as I believe it’s where unique opportunities are shaped. To fulfil this I will offer my unconditional support to each individual student at St Wilfrid's. On a whole, I feel honoured to represent St Wilfrid's as a Head Student and work with the rest of the Leadership Team.”
