Meet our new Business and Community Development Manager    

Holly Myers joined St Wilfrid’s in April to support Jo Waddingham, Head of Specialism.  As Business and Community  Manager, Holly will continue to expand the business links with the community and help develop the entrepreneurial ethos of the school. 

“I’ve  been an educational publisher for five years now, working first on producing textbooks, CD ROMs, websites and teacher files for the Science curriculum and them moving onto professional and research materials for Special Needs and Childhood Studies.  Through this experience I’ve built up a strong relationship with both educational professionals and the business community.

“I’m really pleased to be here at St Wilfrid’s.  The school’s specialist status makes it an invaluable resource to the local business community, and with the building of the new school, I am confident this importance will continue to grow.  I intend to be an effective link between the community and St Wilfrid’s, and know that the companies who have worked with us so far have found it a rewarding and useful experience.  I would urge anyone thinking of projects with a local school to come and talk to me, meet our wonderful staff and students and discuss what mutually beneficial projects we can work on together.”
