A Fond Farewell to Members of Staff
On the last day of the Spring Term the
school said goodbye to three members of staff.
Mr Innes, our Head of Year 9 and RE teacher,
leaves the school after 30 years of teaching at St Wilfrids for a new career
focus.
Mr Danilewicz, our Head Of Science, leaves us after 2
years to take up a new post closer to home.
Mrs Wright, IT Teacher, is leaving to start her
maternity leave and we wish her and her husband, David all the best on the birth
of their first child.
The Governors held a special farewell tea in honour of Mr
Innes. The tea party took place in
the Drama Studio on Thursday 3rd April and all members of staff were
invited to wish Steve well on his new career path. St Wilfrid’s will be extremely sorry
to see Mr Innes go, who has not only been a teacher and Head of Year but also
was a pupil at the school himself.
Mr Innes will be leaving to take up the post of an Assistant Librarian at Worth
Abbey School and we wish him all the best in his new career.

We wish Mr Innes, Mr Danilewicz and Mrs
Wright all the very best and thank them for their invaluable contributions to
the life and work of St Wilfrid's.
